Eva Bouzard-Hui (American, 1936-2023), Three Framed Sets of Four Ceramic Tiles, comprising: "Journey Of The Soul" labeled to verso with title and haiku "Hesitation - Fear / Curiosity rides high / Expecting peace" and signed to lower right of lower right tile, "AYZ to XYZ" labeled with title to verseo and signed to lower right of lower right tile, "Hence" labeled with title and haiku "Circumstances / Played by natures results / Gave the wand magic" and signed to lower right of lower right tile, in wood frames. Tiles: 6" H x 6" W; frames: 14" H x 14" W. Provenance: Eva Bouzard-Hui artist estate. Note: Eva Bouzard-Hui (American, 1936-2023) artist, teacher, and philanthropist earned a degree in Art Education from University of South Carolina and a Master’s degree from Columbia University in 1961. The award-winning artist taught art for decades in the United States and China; after retirement, she also taught art to inmates in New Jersey.
